The prime ministers of Ukraine and Sweden discussed the support necessary for the restoration of the Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
"Swedish transformers, generators and other equipment are already helping to restore the Ukrainian power system. We are grateful for them. At the same time, protecting the skies over Ukraine from Russian terrorist attacks remains a priority for us," Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said.
He noted that the new "winter package" of assistance from Sweden for almost $ 338 million, among other things, includes air defence.
Sweden also joined the Grain from Ukraine initiative, allocating 10 million euros for the purchase of Ukrainian grain for the countries of Asia and Africa.
In addition, Shmyhal and Ulf Kristersson discussed Ukraine's accession to the EU and large-scale post-war reconstruction.
