About 15,000 citizens of Ukraine have gone missing due to Russia's full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian parliament's commissioner for human rights, Dmytro Lubinets, has said.

"Due to the full-scale armed aggression of Russia against Ukraine, 15,000 people have gone missing. Just imagine: the fate of thousands of people is unknown. Some of them may already be dead. Their relatives are looking for them, and their families suffer endlessly from the unknown. Relatives are waiting for good news. They are waiting with hope in their hearts," he said.
