This month Slovakia plans to transfer 300 power generators to Ukraine and join the reconstruction efforts in one of the settlements in Kyiv Region, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said at a briefing with his Slovak counterpart Rastislav Kacer.
"Ukraine greatly appreciates Slovakia's assistance in overcoming the energy crisis, in particular the plans to transfer about 300 power generators this month. We are grateful for about 2,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid worth more than 4m euros, as well as shelter for about 100,000 Ukrainians, to whom our neighbours have literally opened their doors and hearts," Kuleba said.
According to him, the generators should first of all be transferred to help civilians - to schools and hospitals.
