Over the past day, units of the Defence Forces repelled attacks of the Russian occupiers in the areas of Bilohorivka in Luhansk Region, and Klishchyivka and Maryinka in Donetsk Region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Facebook on the morning of the 289th day of the heroic confrontation of Ukrainians to the Russian military invasion.
Over the past day, the enemy launched 5 missile and 3 air strikes, as well as carried out 54 attacks from multiple rocket launchers.
The threat of missile strikes on the energy system and critical infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine continues.
In the Siversk area, the enemy shelled the settlements of Khodyne, Sosnivka, Kindrativka, and Zapsillya of Sumy Region with mortars.
In the Slobozhansk area, the areas of the settlements of Strilecha, Ternov, Starytsa, Ohirtseve and Kupyansk of Kharkiv Region were hit by fire from mortars and barrel artillery.
The enemy is defending in the Kupyansk area. Shelling from tanks and various types of artillery was recorded in the areas of Sinkivka, Pishchane and Pershotravneve settlements in Kharkiv Region and Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Region.
In the Lyman area, the enemy carried out artillery shelling in the areas of Hrekivka, Makiyivka, Ploshchanka, Nevske and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk Region, and Torske and Hryhorivka in Donetsk Region.
In the Bakhmut and Avdiyivka areas, the enemy does not stop trying offensive actions. Areas of twenty-five settlements were shelled by tanks, mortars, and rocket artillery. Among them are Berdychi, Andriyivka, Verkhnokamyanske, Berestov, Bilohorivka, Vesele, Soledar, Bakhmut, Opytne, Avdiyivka, Pervomayske, Maryinka and Novomykhaylivka of Donetsk Region.
The enemy is defending in the Novopavlivsk area. Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva and Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk Region were shelled.
In the Zaporizhzhya area, the enemy fired tanks and artillery at fourteen settlements. In particular, Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka and Novopoly in Donetsk Region and Dorozhnyanka, Hulyaypole, Novodanylivka and Stepove in Zaporizhzhya Region.
The enemy is conducting defensive operations in the Kherson area. Tank and artillery shelling was recorded in the areas of Beryslav, Kozatske, Antonivka, Komyshany, Dniprovske and Veletenske settlements of Kherson Region and the outskirts of the city of Kherson.
The enemy continues to suffer losses. On 7 December of this year, as a result of fire damage to areas where the occupiers were concentrated in the districts of the cities of Berdyansk, Tokmak, Melitopol, Enerhodar, Dniprorudne, Polohy and Vasylivka of Zaporizhzhya Region, the enemy lost about 240 people wounded. 3 ammunition warehouses and about 20 units of military equipment of various types were destroyed. The hospital set up on the basis of the Tokmak anti-tuberculosis clinic is completely filled with wounded servicemen of the Russian occupational forces.
The units of missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces of Ukraine hit 8 control points, 11 areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, and 2 ammunition warehouses of the invaders.
