There is a continuing significant shortage reaching 30% of consumption needs in Kyiv Region, the head of the regional military administration, Oleksiy Kuleba, has said.
"This leads to certain disruptions with heating supply in houses equipped with central heating," Kuleba said.
He added that power engineers were doing their best to enable the energy system to move to scheduled rather than emergency outages.
Efforts are being take to minimize uneven shutdowns and make them more fair.
