President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have discussed the further operation and possible expansion of the grain corridor.
According to Zelenskyy's official Telegram account, he also thanked Turkey for supplying hundreds of generators and providing for shelter for Ukrainian children.
"I continued the dialogue with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. I noted Turkey's support for the Ukrainian initiative Grain from Ukraine. We also discussed further work and possible expansion of the grain corridor," Zelenskyy noted.
In November, Erdogan supported the continuation of the Ukrainian grain initiative on the sidelines of the G20 summit.
On 9 December, the third ship under the Grain from Ukraine initiative departed from Odesa.
In general, within the framework of the humanitarian initiative, our state plans to send more than 60 vessels to Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, Congo, Kenya, Yemen, etc.
