Russia is preparing for a massive strike on the territory of Ukraine, but targeted attacks are also possible, the Head of the Joint Press Centre of South Ukraine Defence Forces Nataliya Humeniuk said in a telethon, the Ukrinform reported.

"It is obvious that Russians are preparing for something. Currently, there are one surface and two underwater missile carriers in the sea, which makes a total of 16 Kalibr missiles. We remember that they tend to repeat more or less significant operations. We are ready for this. We are aware that such a strike is possible," emphasized Humeniuk.

She noted that the enemy is capable of inflicting not only massive but also precision strikes.

"The fact that they are running out of reserves is understandable because they are using them, but we should not underestimate the enemy. Russians are trying to replenish their reserves despite sanctions and despite limitations in their capacities. We see that they are looking for an opportunity to delay the course of events, to take a so-called operational pause to pull up reserves and continue their "victorious show", as they believe. But our counteraction is adequate, and we will not give them that pause because we realize that we need to win our independence as soon as possible," emphasized Humeniuk.

Earlier, the Head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov said that Russia was capable to launch massive regular missile attacks on Ukraine and our infrastructure, but its missile arsenal was being reduced. According to Budanov, Russia has enough missiles for another two to three massive attacks.
