Slovakia has sent the Ukrainian Armed Forces the eighth Zuzana 2 howitzer, Slovak Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad has said.
"Slovakia stands firmly with Ukraine that is still fighting illegitimate aggression. Already 8th Zuzana2 howitzer is now safe in hands of Ukrainian armed forces," he tweeted in English.
The howitzer's firing range is up to 41 km.
In June, Slovakia and Ukraine reached an agreement on the supply of eight howitzers.
