Tanks donated by the UK will land on the Ukraine frontline before summer, Defence Secretary Ben Wallace has said, according to Sky News.
The government has agreed to send 14 Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine to help Kyiv fight Russian forces.
Asked in the Commons when they will arrive in Ukraine, Mr Wallace said: "It'll be this side of the summer, or May - it'll be probably towards Easter time."
He said security reasons prevented him from setting out the timetable of training for Ukrainian forces on using the tanks.
But he added that it would begin with teaching them how to operate the vehicles individually before progressing to how to fight in formation.
