The Centre for Countering Disinformation and Debunk.org are launching a campaign to monitor cases of unfair blocking of foreigners on social media for posts about the war in Ukraine.
The Centre said on Facebook that the campaign is a continuation of the Debunk initiative in Lithuania. They managed to collect more than 150 pieces of evidence of unfair restrictions on pro-Ukrainian users for publications about the Russian-Ukrainian war.
"We want everyone to be able to freely share information and news from the front line, to organize fundraising campaigns in support of Ukrainians, to strengthen our voice and public support for Ukraine in the international space," the CCD said.
The Centre called on people who have faced unlawful blocking of social media accounts for pro-Ukrainian publications or based on complaints from pro-Russian users/bots to come forward and fill out a special form.
