Russian troops shelled the town of Bakhmut with artillery. As a result, two people were killed, including a minor boy, Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Regional Military Administration (RMA), wrote on Telegram.
"The Russian occupiers have turned the once cosy town of Bakhmut into a total ruin. For several months now, the occupiers have been methodically and purposefully shelling Bakhmut, killing its residents. Today, unfortunately, is no exception: two people were killed as a result of another shelling that took place a few hours ago," he wrote.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, at least five other civilians were injured. The deceased teenager was 12 years old. Russian shells damaged a pharmacy and shops.
"The Russians are razing Bakhmut to the ground, killing everyone they can reach. We are carefully documenting all war crimes. They will be held accountable for everything!" emphasized the head of the RMA.
