Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva in Kyiv on 20 February.
According to the government portal, Georgieva noted Ukraine's success in implementing the Monitoring Programme, in particular, that our country has finalized the implementation of all structural benchmarks.
They also discussed the possibility of launching a new multi-year large programme worth more than $15 billion.
This programme will consist of two parts: immediate financial support and support for structural reforms that will facilitate recovery.
Shmyhal also told the IMF chief about programmes to support small and medium-sized businesses.
Georgieva arrived in Kyiv today for a series of high-level meetings.
