Air defence is operating in Kyiv Region, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
"Residents of Kyiv Region! Air defence is working in the region. Stay in shelters or safe places until the alarm goes off. Take care of yourself and your loved ones!" the statement reads.
At 12:07 a.m., the air raid alert in Kyiv Region ceased.
UPDATE, 13:30. The spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ihnat, said during a telethon that the air defence forces had shot down a Russian reconnaissance drone.
