The Rada also appealed to the international community to condemn the aggressor. Foreign delegations attended the parliamentary session on 24 February.

On the war anniversary, the Verkhovna Rada denounced all maritime agreements with Russia, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a member of the Voice (Holos) faction, tells LB.

“On the anniversary of the war, the Parliament adopted several statements to international partners: - Appeal to the parliaments and governments of democratic states and international organizations on the occasion of the anniversary of the beginning of the full-scale invasion war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine - (in favour - 313); - Appeal to the national parliaments of the states-participants of the first Parliamentary Summit of the Crimean Platform on the occasion of the 9th anniversary of the attempted annexation and temporary occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (in favour - 330); - Appeal to the UN Human Rights Committee, the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, the International Court of Justice, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees on the violation by the Russian Federation of international treaties (conventions) that have signs of genocide against the Ukrainian people (in favour - 330);”

The Verkhovna Rada also denounced all maritime agreements with Russia:

"Voted to denounce the Agreement between Ukraine and Russia on Cooperation in the Use of the Azov Sea and the Kerch Strait (303 votes in favour). And on the withdrawal from the Agreement on the Establishment of the Black Sea Naval Cooperation Group (in favour - 305)".
