Ukraine does not agree with at least one point of the Chinese "peace plan" to end the war, but the document is still being studied, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"We saw the final version of the plan last night, which was in the morning in Beijing. There are some elements that we agree with, and there is at least one point that we disagree with, which is related to sanctions. We are convinced that sanctions are an important tool. But in general, this is an interesting document," Kuleba said.

The minister reiterated that the document should be "studied from start to finish" and conclusions should be drawn.

"It is good that China has presented its position, a comprehensive view of this war," he added.

On the anniversary of Russia's attack on Ukraine, the Chinese Foreign Ministry published its "position on the political settlement of the Ukrainian crisis".
