Poland is handing 60 PT-91 tanks over to Ukraine, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said at a joint press conference with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv on 24 February.
"We are already handing over PT-91 tanks. The next 60 tanks will be delivered to Ukraine," Morawiecki said when asked about the timing of the delivery.
"I spoke with the Danish prime minister yesterday, and she is also considering the possibility of transferring tanks to Ukraine. Also, other countries that may be part of the coalition, such as Sweden or Finland, can do it quickly," the Polish prime minister added.
Bloomberg reported that Poland would send the first German Leopard tanks to Ukraine today.
Polnd also offered to provide treatment and rehabilitation for 2,500 wounded Ukrainian soldiers.
