The Ukrainian military has repelled a tank and infantry offensive by the Russian army in Luhansk Region, the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Hayday, said on Telegram on 26 February.
According to him, the situation in Luhansk Region remains stably tense, but under the control of the Defenсe Forces.
Hayday said that the Russians are trying to storm Ukrainian positions near Kreminna and Bilohorivka. Yesterday Russian infantry tried to assault because a few days ago Ukrainian defenders repelled their tank attack and burned the vehicles.
Meanwhile, the situation in the Svatove sector is stable. The Russian army is not conducting any major offensives there.
