A rescuer who was seriously wounded in a nighttime shelling of Khmelnytskyy by Russians has died in the city hospital, the Head of the Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Hamaliy, reported on Telegram.
"Unfortunately, we have another death in the hospital. Doctors could not save the life of another rescue hero," he wrote.
Earlier, the authorities reported the death of one State Emergency Service officer and the injury of four people.
Last night, the Russians once again attacked Khmelnytsky Region. Three attacks were made on the city of Khmelnytskyy. Civilian buildings were damaged as a result of the shelling.
Khmelnytskyy Region suffered a previous attack on 18 February. The enemy hit a military facility, among other things. Educational institutions were also damaged.
