A high-voltage power line in Odesa Region has been damaged, temporarily leaving almost all districts of Odesa and Odesa Region without electricity, the press service of DTEK energy holding reports.
"Power engineers will begin emergency repair work immediately after the air raid is cancelled," the statement said.
On Sunday, National Energy Company Ukrenergo (Ukrenerho) announced on its Telegram channel that restrictions on the company's networks in Odesa Region, which were in place after a large-scale accident on 4 February, have been lifted.
Russian shelling caused the most challenging situation with the electricity supply in Odesa Region. Repairs to energy facilities are underway around the clock. It was also reported that the critical infrastructure of Odesa and Odesa Region would be switched to generators.
