Today, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed the commander of the Joint Forces, Eduard Moskalev, the decree published on the president's website states.
"Dismiss Moskalev Eduard Mykhailovych from the post of commander of the Joint Forces," the document says.
On 15 March 2022, Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Eduard Moskalev as commander of the Joint Forces Operation. The previous commander, Oleksiy Pavlyuk, was appointed to head the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
Previously, Eduard Moskalev served as Chief of Staff and First Deputy Commander of the Operational Command East of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He also served as Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces.
