Oleksandr Kamyshyn, board chairman of Ukrainian Railway (Ukrzaliznytsya), is resigning.
"The railroad continues to operate on schedule. I am resigning. As decided jointly with Deputy Prime Minister [Oleksandr] Kubrakov, I will head the office for European integration of Ukrzaliznytsya in Europe," Kamyshin announced on Telegram.
Recently, Kamyshin said that Ukrzaliznytsya may set up its own freight carrier company in Europe by the end of this year. However, there are problems, including the low "speed of approvals in Europe".
