In some cases, the UK gives more military assistance to Ukraine than Kyiv has requested, Ukraine's Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Vadym Prystayko has said, Radio Liberty reports.
According to Prystayko, Britain's assistance works in several ways.
"If we're talking about military training, we asked for one amount, and now Britain is offering to increase it 2.5 times this year. That is, we can say that it is +250%. Some of the weapons we requested, such as aircraft, are difficult to come by. We are looking for options," the ambassador explained.
Prystayko added that Ukraine had requested 14 Challenger 2 tanks from the UK, but after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit, it turned out that the number would double.
