Due to the full-scale war, a 922-km section of the land border with Russia remains temporarily out of Ukraine's control, Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko has said.
The country's defence forces have regained control over 395 km of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border and more than 1,000 km of the border with Russia.
"We are working to modernize the control means: video surveillance cameras with thermal imagers controlled by the latest software along the entire line of state borders will not leave any part of our border 'blind'. We are already working with such equipment in some sections. The eyes of the border see far," he said.
