Supplying the Ukrainian military in Bakhmut with everything they need continues despite the Russians blowing up of a bridge towards the village of Khromove, the spokesperson for the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhiy Cherevatyy, has said on the air of the news telethon.

"Our engineers and logisticians are doing everything. And such incidents, including attempts to take the roads under fire or direct control, showed that we found a way out of the situation and are supplying ammunition, equipment, food and everything we need to Bakhmut, as well as taking out our wounded," Cherevatyy said.

As reported earlier, the Russians are using their most professional units in the battle for Bakhmut. These are not only Wagner PMC troops, but also special forces and air assault units.

According to Cherevatyy, Russia started sending elite units to Bakhmut because of the huge losses among Wagner militants.

According to British intelligence, in recent days, the Russians have regained some momentum in the battle for Bakhmut. They have made some progress and are likely to have advanced to the city centre and captured the western bank of the Bakhmutka River.
