As of the morning of 9 April, more than 1,415 children have been injured in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression, the Office of the Prosecutor-General has said.
According to juvenile prosecutors, 468 children were killed and more than 947 sustained injuries of varying severity.
Most children were injured in Donetsk Region, 449, Kharkiv Region, 275, Kyiv Region, 127, Kherson Region, 94, Zaporizhzhya Region, 89, Mykolayiv Region, 85, Chernihiv Region, 68, Luhansk Region, 66, and Dnipropetrovsk Region, 66.
On 9 April, Russian troops fired rockets at Zaporizhzhya. One rocket hit a private residential building, resulting in its destruction and the death of an 11-year-old girl.
On 8 April, a 15-year-old boy was injured by Russian shelling of Torets, Donetsk Region.
