At night and on the morning of 18 April, Russian troops shelled Kharkiv Region once again. The attack damaged outbuildings and injured an 18-year-old girl, the Office of the Prosecutor General has reported on Telegram.

According to the report, under the procedural guidance of the Derhachi and Kupyansk district prosecutor's offices of Kharkiv Region, pre-trial investigations into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) have been launched.

On the night of 18 April, an aerial projectile was launched from the territory of Russia and landed in the village of Lyptsi. As a result, one house was destroyed and three outbuildings were damaged.

On 18 April, at around 9:00, the Russians shelled the village of Petropavlivka in Kupyansk District. An 18-year-old girl was wounded and hospitalised.

The consequences of Russia's armed aggression were recorded by district prosecutors together with police investigators.

The intensity of Russian shelling in the border areas of Kharkiv Region has recently increased significantly.
