Over the past day, Russia targeted Kherson Region 83 times, firing 412 shells from heavy artillery, drones and aircraft, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, has said on Telegram.
"The enemy shelled the city of Kherson three times. The Russian military hit residential areas of the region's settlements, the territory and the building of an educational institution in the Bilozerka community," he noted.
Two people were killed and six were injured as a result. Over the past day, 71 people were evacuated from the liberated territory of the region.
Yesterday afternoon, the Russian army heavily shelled the village of Kizomys in the Bilozerka community of Kherson Region.
