The gas supply company Naftogaz of Ukraine has extended the Fixed tariff plan for households for another year, under which its price will continue to be UAH 7.96 per cubic metre (including VAT), the company's press service has said.
"The gas price for household customers remains unchanged. This decision was made taking into account the martial law and the economic situation in Ukraine. Despite the complexity of the situation, we will continue to keep the price of fuel for our citizens at the pre-war level," said Oleksiy Chernyshov, CEO of Naftogaz Group.
Naftogaz provides gas to more than 12.4 million Ukrainian households. All these customers receive gas in accordance with the annual Fixed tariff plan. The tariff is valid from 1 May 2023 to 1 May 2024 inclusive.
