Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyy held an extended meeting with Supreme Allied Commander Europe General Christopher Cavoli.
According to Zaluzhnyy's Facebook post, they discussed a wide range of issues important to the Armed Forces. He spoke in detail about the operational situation along the entire front line.
"I described possible scenarios, threats and prerequisites for our future actions. Our goal is to prepare ourselves in such a way that we can fulfil the assigned tasks to the fullest extent possible," Zaluzhnyy said.
The commanders also focused on the importance of timely supplies of ammunition and equipment in sufficient quantities.
"I stressed the need to provide Ukraine with a wide range of weapons and air defence systems that will significantly help to resolve the problematic issues in countering Russian aggression," the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
The parties also discussed the training of Ukrainian defenders. They agreed to continue to maintain dialogue and work to strengthen Ukraine's defence capabilities.
