On the morning of 30 April, Russian troops shelled the old town and central parts of Avdiyivka several times with Grad multiple rocket launchers and twice with tanks, the head of the Avdiyivka city military administration, Vitaliy Barabash, has said, according to Suspilne.

At 11a.m., the Russian army launched an air strike on the city centre.

"Two multi-storey buildings collapsed. All three floors, to the foundation. There is no information on people yet," Barabash said.

According to him, the Russian army shelled the old part of the city once at night.

As of 30 April, 1,782 people remain in Avdiyivka, including a 12-year-old boy who is still being searched for. Residents are provided with food and products, Barabash said.

Around midnight on 30 April, Russians fired five rockets at Kramatorsk. There were no casualties: two rockets fell in a field outside the city, two more in the industrial zone, and near a residential building in a bedroom community.
