Odesa mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov has called the Russian night attack on the city "one of the most horrific nights".

"One of the most terrible nights. Ruscists attacked Odesa with various types of missiles and Shaheds. We have not seen such an attack since the beginning of the full-scale invasion," the mayor said on Facebook.

He noted that as a result of the attack in Peresypskyy and Kyivskyy districts, residential buildings were damaged and windows were smashed. The Sloboda cemetery was damaged. According to preliminary reports, no-one was killed. The injured, including a 9-year-old boy, were provided with all necessary medical care.

Trukhanov also said that after receiving permission from the military, utility and other services will visit all affected areas to help clean up, seal the holes with plastic and accept applications from Odesa residents for the restoration of windows and doors.

In addition, the mayor thanked the air defence and noted that "we are getting stronger from our justified rage".

Last night, Russia attacked port and critical infrastructure in Odesa Region. In particular, two port terminals were damaged: a grain terminal and an oil terminal. There are some injuries.

Russia has been attacking the port infrastructure of Odesa Region for two days in a row, after it unilaterally announced the suspension of the grain deal. Under the agreements, which were in place for a year, Ukrainian grain was exported from the ports of Greater Odesa.
