Kostin thanked Attorney General Merrick Garland and his colleagues from the US Department of Justice.
"Once again, we see that commitment, unity, and persistence yield fruitful results. Every meeting, letter, and hearing at Congress brings us closer to our ultimate goal—halting Russia and holding Kremlin’s criminal regime accountable for all its atrocities. Hope that our transatlantic cooperation among Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice and ICC prosecutor Karim Khan will continue, setting the pathway for the landmark decisions," the Prosecutor General added.
US President Joe Biden secretly told the US government to hand over information about Russia's war crimes in Ukraine to the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
