A Russian ammunition depot has detonated in Crimea's Kozacha Bay, the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate has said.

The incident happened at around 10 p.m. on 28 July.

"Witnesses heard two explosions and sounds of further detonation of ammunition. Several ambulances and police went to the scene," the Ukrainian intelligence said.

According to it, the 810th Marine Brigade is currently deployed in Kozacha Bay. The explosions and detonations were a result of an act of sabotage at a "temporary" Russian ammunition depot.
