Skhemy journalists say pro-presidential MP Kholodov left Ukraine in January 2023

In January 2023, Andriy Kholodov, a member of the pro-presidential Servant of the People party, left Ukraine and has not returned since. For six months now, he has not attended parliament sessions, the Skhemy (Schemes) investigative project has reported.

"According to Skhemy's sources with access to the border crossing database, Andriy Kholodov last was in Ukraine on 21 January 2023," it said.

On that day, at 10 a.m., he left for Romania through the Porubne checkpoint in Chernivtsi Region in a Mercedes GLS 450.

Before that, he had been in Ukraine for 10 days, leaving on 17 December last year and returning on 11 January 2023.

According to Skhemy, Kholodov has been staying with his family abroad, in particular in Cyprus, where he owns a mansion. The journalists found out that Kholodov is building a family business abroad. In particular, his wife has become a co-owner of the LA SALUTE Sport & Beauty salon in Vienna.

First deputy speaker Oleksandr Korniyenko told Skhemy that he did not know where Kholodov was.

"In 2023, the Ukrainian MP was not granted any holidays, and no business trips abroad were arranged. Starting from 21 January, no payments have been made to him," parliament's secretariat said.
