This afternoon, a Russian missile hit Zaporizhzhya, killing two people, the acting mayor, secretary of the city council, Anatoliy Kurtyev, has said.
"The occupiers attacked Zaporizhzhya. An enemy missile hit an open area. Unfortunately, a man and a woman were killed. Another woman was injured. My sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims," Kurtyev said.
According to him, the blast wave smashed windows in high-rise buildings and damaged an educational institution and a supermarket.
