Oleksiy Chernyshov, current chairman of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, is being considered as the head of the newly established Ministry of Ukrainians’ Unification.
According to Ukrayinska Pravda, citing sources within the Servant of the People faction, Chernyshov’s candidacy will be discussed at a mono-majority meeting on Tuesday, 3 December.
Chernyshov, who previously served as head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration and Minister for Community and Territorial Development, is expected to bring his experience to this new role.
The meeting will also address a potential new position for Batkivshchyna MP Alyona Shkrum, who recently announced her resignation. She is reportedly in line to serve as Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration under Oleksiy Kuleba.
