JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya has received pipe products from Tetra Tech ES, Inc, which is the executor of the Energy Security Project (ESP), to restore the pipelines damaged as a result of hostilities. This was reported by the press service of Naftogaz Group.
The purchase was financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
"In total, Ukrgasvydobuvannya received more than 1700 items of pipeline parts. We are grateful to our international partners for the assistance provided - it is very relevant in the context of constant attacks on the energy infrastructure. It is very important for us to maintain the stability of production processes until the end of the heating season," said Oleksiy Chernyshov, CEO of Naftogaz Group.
In his turn, Serhiy Lahno, Acting CEO of Ukrgasvydobuvannya, added that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, USAID has provided the company with 102 diesel power plants and 6,000 tonnes of methanol, which is a critical raw material for the production, treatment and transportation of natural gas.
In addition, the Agency provided additional protection for the Group's gas production facilities from Russian attacks.
