Since the beginning of 2024, Naftogaz Group companies Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC and Ukrnafta PJSC have produced 9.8 bcm of commercial gas, which is more than 7% more than in the same period last year, the Naftogaz press service reports.
Currently, natural gas production exceeds the operating plan by more than 2%, the company said.
"We are not abandoning our goal of switching to the use of exclusively domestically produced gas for the needs of Ukrainians. Ukrgasvydobuvannya specialists have put 52 wells into operation. Of these, 17 are high-rate wells, producing more than 100 thousand cubic metres of gas per day. I am grateful to the team for their efficient work," said Oleksiy Chernyshov, CEO of Naftogaz Group.
