The net consolidated profit of Naftogaz Group in the first half of 2024 is UAH 24.4 billion. For the same period last year, the Group reported UAH 6.6 billion of net consolidated profit.
The review of the financial statements of Naftogaz Group for the six months of 2024 was conducted by the independent international auditing company PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), the press service of Naftogaz reports.
Despite all the challenges associated with martial law and the obligations imposed on the company by the state, Naftogaz Group continues to strengthen its position and demonstrates an increase in financial results.
"In the first six months of 2024, we improved our consolidated net profit by almost 4 times compared to the same period last year. This is due to strong teamwork - I thank all Naftogaz employees for this result," said Oleksiy Chernyshov, CEO of Naftogaz Group.
Consolidated operating profit for the first half of 2024 reached UAH 28.9 billion. At the same time, this figure for the same period last year was UAH 14 billion.
Naftogaz Group managed to achieve significant improvements in its financial results, in particular, due to an increase in revenues from the sale of gas, oil and petroleum products, as well as from natural gas distribution services.
The key companies that showed a profit in the first half of 2024 are NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya, JSC Ukrtransgaz, PJSC Ukrnafta, LLC Gas Supply Company Naftogaz of Ukraine, and JSC Ukrtransnafta.
In addition, in January-June 2024, the Group's companies paid taxes to the state budget in the amount of UAH 44 billion. This is 7.5% of all payments controlled by the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
At the same time, in early April 2024, the Group ensured the successful completion of one of the most difficult heating seasons of 2023/2024 under PSO.
