Ukraine's Armed Forces have reported success south of Urozhayne, Donetsk Region, according to General Staff spokesman Andriy Kovalyov.
"They have had success south of Urozhayne and are now gaining a foothold at the reached positions," he said.
He added that the Ukrainian military is hitting the detected targets with artillery and is engaged in counterbattery combat.
The Ukrainian Defence Ministry confirmed the liberation of Urozhayne village in Donetsk Region on 16 August.
