Russia attacked an infrastructure facility in Zhytomyr Region with drones, the head of the regional military administration, Vitaliy Bunechko, has said on Telegram.
According to him, the falling wreckage of the downed drone caused a fire, which was localised by the State Emergency Service. Information on the extent of the damage is being clarified.
On the night of 19 August, Russia attacked Ukraine from the north with Shahed-136/131 attack drones. It launched 17 attack drones from the Kursk area, 15 of which were destroyed by Ukraine's air defences. Air defences were activated in the northern, central and western regions.
