Today, on 6 September, the Russian army attacked Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Region, says Radio Liberty.

Preliminarily, there are 16 dead.

According to UNIAN, the enemy hit the central market with the S-300 system.

PM Denys Shmyhal said that one child among the dead. At least 20 people were injured. The fire was localised on the spot.

Later, the State Emergency Service reported that Russia had shelled a market in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk Region.

Forty-four people were injured: 16 were killed and 28 injured. A rescuer was among the injured.

The State Emergency Service and police are conducting a search and rescue operation. The debris is being cleared.

Police paramedics and doctors are providing medical care to the injured.

Emergency workers quickly extinguished the fire with an area of about 300 square meters. About 30 trade pavilions were damaged.


Over the past 24 hours, Russia shelled 25 settlements in Zaporizhzhya Region, attacked Sumy with mortars, gas stations and artillery. Kyiv, Chernihiv, Dnipro, Luhansk, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions were also affected.
