Russian troops have stepped up their activity as fighting continues in the Tavriya sector, according to the commander of the Tavriya Operational and Strategic Group of Troops, Oleksandr Tarnavskyy.
Over the past day, 9 October, Russia carried out 19 air strikes, fought 26 combat engagements and fired 705 artillery rounds. At the same time, missile and artillery units of Ukraine's Tavriya group performed 1,415 fire missions. Russia's total losses amounted to 169 people.
Seven pieces of Russian military equipment were destroyed, including a tank, three artillery systems, three vehicles, as well as two ammunition depots.
