Seven Ukrainians were killed as a result of the Hamas militants' attack on Israel. Consuls have established their personal data, are in contact with relatives and are taking steps to repatriate the bodies. This was reported on Facebook by Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleh Nikolenko.

According to him, nine citizens sustained injuries of varying severity. Nine more Ukrainians are reported missing. The Ukrainian embassy is cooperating with Israeli security services in the context of the search for the missing.

More than a thousand Ukrainian citizens have requested assistance in leaving Israel due to canceled flights. Diplomats are preparing the first evacuation flight to Romania for Saturday, 14 October. The Foreign Ministry is working on organising additional evacuation flights. Details will be sent to citizens who have provided their information to the Ukrainian embassy in Tel Aviv.

About 200 Ukrainians have expressed a desire to evacuate from Gaza, but due to the lack of security, it is currently impossible to leave. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ukrainian embassies in Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and other Ukrainian agencies involved are making active efforts to get our people out as soon as possible.
