Today, on 18 October, the Malynovskyy District Court of Odesa passed a verdict finding Kirill Stremousov guilty of high treason and collaboration.

The trial was held in a special court proceeding in absentia (in the absence of the accused). It is noted that the court took all measures to summon the accused to court hearings.

During the court arguments, the prosecution requested that Stremousov be found guilty and sentenced to the appropriate punishment within the sanctions of the articles in question.

In turn, Stremousov's defence counsel requested an acquittal.

Having assessed the evidence submitted by the parties to the criminal proceedings, the court concluded that the citizen was guilty of a criminal offence and sentenced him to life imprisonment with confiscation of property for a combination of criminal offences.

The verdict has not entered into force and may be appealed in accordance with the procedure established by law.

In 2022, the occupiers appointed Stremousov as the "Deputy Head of the Kherson Region Administration". In November of the same year, the traitor allegedly died in a car accident.
