At around 8 a.m., the Russian military struck the town of Beryslav, Kherson Region, with four guided aerial bombs, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko has said.
According to preliminary reports, one person was killed. Units of the State Emergency Service and the National Police are inspecting the area.
The head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said that a woman in her 80s died in her own home as a result of the strike. She died on the spot from her injuries.
Novoberyslav was also struck by two aerial bombs. The extent of the damage is being checked.
At midnight, the Russians started shelling Kherson with artillery. The attack damaged a private house. There were no casualties.
