In the early hours of 22 October, Russian troops targeted Ukraine with attack UAVs, cruise missiles and anti-aircraft rockets, four of which were shot down, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
According to the military, eight S-300 missile launches were made from Belgorod Region and occupied areas in Donetsk Region.
Russians also used a Kh-59 guided missile launched by a Su-34 aircraft from the airspace over occupied areas in Zaporizhzhya Region, two more UAVs of an undetermined type from the north and three Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from the area of Cape Chauda (Crimea).
Air defence destroyed four targets: one Kh-59 guided missile and three Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs.
Also, over the past 24 hours, three Russian Lancet attack UAVs were destroyed in the south of the country.
