On Saturday, the Russians shelled Nikopol with heavy artillery, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, has said.
"The enemy attacked Nikopol with heavy artillery. They fired seven shells at the city. A man was killed. We are checking all the information," he said.
