Iran will be able to freely trade missiles with the rest of the world, including Russia, as the UN resolution restricting the country's ballistic missile exports has expired, the former head of Israel's National Security Council, Eyal Hulata, has said in an interview with LB.ua.

"Now they can freely trade missiles with the whole world, including Russia. And we have even less chance of stopping them. At the same time, Tehran will also have access to technology and will be able to export it," Hulata said.

He added that Israel opposed this and put the issue on the international agenda many times. "We knew this would happen if the world did not react. And the world did not react," said the former head of the Israeli National Security Council.

Hulata said that Israel and Ukraine can join forces to demand that the international community stop the proliferation of Iranian ballistic missiles.

"We need to ensure that Iran and Russia do not benefit from such cooperation. This is a threat that both our countries feel, and the liberal democratic world should share these concerns. I also believe that Iran's transfer of other weapons and technologies to Russia, which are used against Ukrainians, is a priority for both countries. We must counteract this," he added.
