The German federal government is allocating another 200m euros for Ukraine's recovery, Jochen Flasbarth, State Secretary of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, said during a visit to Ukraine on Friday, Augsburger Allgemeine reports.
The money will be used for education, healthcare, drinking water supply and reconstruction of Ukrainian cities.
Flasbarth also stressed the importance of supporting the key sectors of Ukraine's economy, such as agriculture, as people need prospects and jobs.
The German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development notes that since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Berlin has allocated about 1bn euros to support Ukrainians.
